So I haven't been totally useless during my sick week, but it kind of amazes me how something that took me this long to churn out on a regular year ended up getting completed in less than a week at a time when I could barely sit up or lift a spoon to feed myself. At any rate, my work is done and my commissioners are happy with it. Score!

They basically wanted me to draw a concept image of them in my own style, so I just went with the first idea that came to mind--classical Nadiah as the jeweler and funky Tracy as the seamstress. (yeah yeah, I totally cheated on Tracy's outfit by using the one I took a picture of...) I went for something super simple and streamlined and ended up retracing my entire sketch in photoshop. Can't say I regret doing it--it looks all graphic designy but not too stiff.

I'm oddly stoked by this: this was my first official commission on purpletophat.com. :D
