I am printing prints like a mad thing. So far:
-120 notecards
-50 11x14 prints
My business cards just arrived today! All 1000 of them. They're beautiful and professional looking and durable. Bye bye do-it-yourself business cards.

Lookit that pretty semi-gloss.
Also, have some random Moka love:

I just can't handle his cuteness, really.

And so I lived.
As I knew I would, although it felt like...augh. I cannot describe it. I haven't been able to sleep until 4 am in the morning for the past few days, and I find myself crying at odd times. I know, I know, it's all part of grief, and I'd rather not skip any of it lest it comes back to haunt me later. It's gotten better, thankfully, but I'm nowhere near over the shock yet. My baby bird is gone...but I still have one--Moka--to take care of, and he's in need of serious TLC, which we're only too happy to give him.
Also, thank you everyone for the kind words--they helped more than you know.
isako and
doortoriver, your phonecalls were balms to my heart--and better than sleeping pills, apparently. XD
But for its emotional upheavals, this week hasn't been all tears and hiding under the covers. Death in the family reminds me that our time here is precious. Heartbreak is inevitable, but letting yourself go is best avoided. So I sat down and fiddled with the internet, and did things to help my creativity. Such as joining a wonderful fantasy art forum and site, Fantasy Artists Emerging and opening up a portfolio on ArtWanted.com. I think I'm still new enough to be seen on the artists' page: http://www.artwanted.com/artists/ . If not, click on "view more new members", or do a search for my name. ^_^
I'm also getting back to work. Both original...and fanart. I'll upload a doodle or two soon, possibly tomorrow, but in the meantime, bed must be had. Good night all. *waves*
